I work full time in IT for a FTSE 100 company but in my spare time I take photos, mainly event, glamour and fashion.

I have an Advanced level qualification in photography and live in Southsea, Hampshire with my main photographic work being based in the Portsmouth and Southsea area. As my main job is in IT it does take precedence over the photographic work I can undertake, but I do have understanding colleagues so am pretty flexible.

I have a room set aside as a permanent fully equipped studio, where most, if not all of the studio pictures, on this site were taken, this is for personal use only and is not rented out to other photographers so please don't ask. Other rooms in the house are also used to add some variety to shoots and the cellar has recently been cleared and converted into a dark area for more moody and fetish type pics, some sample pics from the varions locations can be seen on the Studio Page.

Since the early nineties I have been commissioned by Portsmouth City Councils 'Art Office' on numerous occasions to cover events they support, many examples of which have been used in brochures etc. produced by the Council (see www.liveatthebandstand.co.uk for work commissioned by City Arts, years 2001 and 2002).

In 2000 I obtained my LRPS from the Royal Photographic Society having gained the relevant qualification in photography in the same year.
