Free Photoshoot

Hopefully you will read this before contacting me inquiring about a photoshoot

Who I offer Shoots to:

I am only looking for attractive female subjects (models), who will not look out of place in my portfolio and will on occasions improve it.

Age is not important, mature models are most welcome to apply, but I am not looking for child models, so whatever age, you must have an adult look, i.e. look at least 18, this is very important and will result in me not replying if you dont look 18, and if you do look 18 but are under 18 then the following will apply:

All request for a shoot by girls under 17, must be accompanied with a request from there parent i.e. an email or facebook mail, my direct email address is steve@stevespurgin.com, this in the first instance will indicate that they are aware that you are looking to do a shoot, obviously this could be faked etc but since they will also need to attend the shoot there is no real point in faking it.

Also when attending the shoot anyone under 17 must be accompanied in the first instance by a parent or guardian, if you come with a friend only one parent need be present and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Also I am sure some girls sign up to facebook and give incorrect dates of birth so please be prepared to provide proof of age when attending your shoot, this applies to those who claim to be over 18, so you will no doubt have some form of id by now..

What I do not do:

I am not interested in shooting: Babies , Children , Boys or Men.

I do not shoot weddings or other social occasions (including Proms, Christenings etc).

Why You May not get a shoot:

I can only shoot a limited number of girls and will pick those I believe are the best looking or on occasions have that something specials, this is purely my opinion so even if you believe you have more modelling potential than other girls I have photographed then I am sorry but my decision is final.

Priority will be given to those over 18 who have a number of existing images within there facebook or other online profiles that shows off some form of modelling talent.

Can you pay me to do your photos:

I have no current interest in making money from my photography so offers of payment will make no difference to my decision.

Cancellations:

There are two category of cancellations, if you cancel more than 5 days before your shoot, that is no problem as I will usually be able to rearrange another shoot and I am happy to rearrange your shoot for a later date. If you cancel your shoot with less than 5 days notice then I can not guarantee that it will be rearranged, in fact if it is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or you just fail to turn up it is highly unlikely to be rearranged unless you have exceptionally modelling potential when I will let you know I am willing to reschedule.

Requesting a Shoot

If you think you are suitable for a shoot, please email me and make sure you email includes all the following information, this will save time as I wont have to email you back to ask:

1. Age (only if you under 18)

2. If you want a shoot with a friend or friends please tell me there full name(s) and if applicable ages (I will assume they are on facebook and one of you friends, if they are not then I need to be sent pictures of the friends who you will be coming with stevespurgin@hotmail.co.uk)

3. The times of day you and if applicable your friends can make a shoot, i.e. please indicate what evenings you cant generally make.

4. The type of shoot you want to do, i.e. the style from casual/fashion , swimwear, lingerie, implied topless , topless(page 3) etc. This is only to give me an idea and you are always free change your mind up to and even during the shoot.

5. Please include a phone number if you reply rapidly to email then I should not need to contact you by phone, but if I do need to contact you in a hurry then I will as a last resort use this number.

6. Please also indicate whether you wish the images to remain private as in many cases I would like to put examples of my current work on to facebook etc..

Communications, what I will attept and what I expect:

I can usually tell straight away if I want to do a shoot with someone and in these cases I will invariably respond within 24 hours*, with a suggested date/time for a shoot, please try and reply the same day letting me know if you can or can not make it, if I don't get a reply within 24 hours the date can not be guaranteed. (* Occasionally emails get overlooked so this is my target).

If there are indications that you have been of facebook but not replied to my email, ie you have updated you profile in anyway or have commented on someone elses profile then I reserve the right to cancel the shoot if you have not replied to one of my emails, especially if this is an email requiring you to confirm you can still make an immitent shoot, if the email was offering you a date and time, I would not necessarily expect you to confirm immediately but an acknowledgement and an indication of when you will let me know will be expected.

Other Questions You May Have:

How long is the shoot.
The usual shoot lasts around 2 hours but allow 3 hours to cover you getting ready and me doing the disc(s).

What do I need to bring
You will need to do your own hair and makeup, either before or after you arrive, you will also need to bring you own outfits. I suggest bringing between 4 or 6 outfits of varying styles and colours, less outfits if you are having a shoot with a friend or friends.

I am over older than 17, can I do underwear pics.
I am happy to shoot all levels, from casual/fashion through lingerie and topless nude, what you do is entirely up to you.

Can I bring a friend along.
You are most welcome to bring a friend, girl friends are preferred but whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

When do I get my pics
You can take home a disc at the end of the shoot, this usually take around 20 mins for one disc on an average shoot, if you come with friends for a shoot and want a disc each then it will take longer, or if the shoot its self takes longer than the average 2 hours.

Can I get prints.
You are most welcome to get the pics printed either in a local shop or online, I can let you know the site I use for prints, if you want a covering letting saying you have permission to have the pics printed just ask (ASDA do for one require a covering letter before they release prints).
